Nicholas Penberthy is an Engineering/Project Manager with 35 years of experience, 25 years of which are in the design, development and delivery of high profile integrated rail projects in the UK, Far East and Middle East.
He is fully conversant with all elements of the interdisciplinary dependencies of multi-disciplinary rail system and signaling projects, delivering solutions which utilize cutting-edge technology and safety standards.
Responsible for the successful planning, scheduling, organisation, monitoring, reporting, forecasting and delivery to quality, budget and schedule of required project engineering interfaces and deliverables.

Engineering and System Manager on the £128m Birmingham City Centre Tram Extension. 2013.
Design Manager for the £1.6bn HS1; 185 mph Paris to London in 2001 to 2003.
Design and Construction Manager of West Coast Main Line at Crewe. 2008.
Signalling Project Manager in Wales for Network Rail. 2004 to 2006.
Programme Manager for Colas Rail and Network Rail in West London, S&C Renewals in London North West. 2007 to 2009.
Signalling System Auditor for the Docklands Light Rail (Thales Seltrac). 2012
