A British chemical engineering graduate driven by problem solving and logical solution. I have a high attention to detail after a year within the pharmaceutical industry where I was mentored by a team of 6 scrutinous engineers and scientists. I am keen to apply this thorough approach to other further areas of industry.
After taking a year out to travel following my graduate scheme at Tata steel, I am looking forward to a role wher I can work towards a team goal, demonstrating my own skill as a self-motivated engineer and also learning from others within the group.

- Tata co-ordinator for EU Carbon reduction project I-ThERM. Worked alongside Spirax Sarco at the start of the project tp install a pilot plant recovering waste heat from a water stream
-3 month secondment to Scunthorpe blast furnaces as part of the Energy Efficiency team. Running costs of the blast furnaces reduced by 5% through analysis of the operating conditions, walk throughs of the plant and idea generation sessions with operators and managers. Demonstrated ongoing work through regular presentations with all employees involved.
-Co-chair of the Magnet Group, the young persons networking group, organising presentation opportunities within work and social and charitable work outside. Raised over £900 by organising a 3 peaks challenge walk for network members for 4 different UK sites.
Process Engineering Intern
- Completed lean six sigma training and implemented it to improve day to day running within the technical team.
-Part of the technical liason team for a multi-million pound capacity enhancing site project.
-Completed monthly analysis for a new key product for continued process verification. Reports were used in the case of deviations within operations.
