We are currently representing an International contractor in their search for an experienced Nursery Manager to be based in Bahrain. This company specializes in landscape design, construction and maintenance. Utilizing the skills of specialized landscape architects and engineers, the company offers a full range of landscaping services for projects ranging from major commercial installations to private genders. The client requires a full time Nursery Manager who can manage the entire nursery operation whilst at the same time liaising with the various sites over plant stock supplies. The nursery has been specifically built to supply their landscaping contract needs and will not deal with the general public. With in the nursery they have zoned off areas for specific projects. They are purchasing plants from various suppliers and taking them into the nursery to acclimatize. They are also setting up their own propagation areas and glass houses to cultivate plants from seeds to cuttings. Responsibilities : You will run the nursery. Control the inflow and outflow of palms, trees, shrubs and plants to various projects. Investigate proper cultivation lines to produce large volumes of plants for end use. Generally have the ability to be able to work on your own initiative and run the operation on a profitable basis.
