With the continued growth in their Civil & Geotechnical projects portfolio, they seek a well-seasoned and commercially astute Lead Geotechnical Engineer to spearhead excellence on an ever-growing range of large scale underground infrastructure projects.
You will be working with competent and highly professional teams of professionals on large scale underground & geotechnical projects. Your primary accountabilities will include but not be limited to working on fundamental design concepts through to detailed technical guidance on final designs in the areas of Geotechnical Engineering. Being the driving force and the leader in the department, you also function as mentor towards the development of your team members, providing them with technical guidance and be responsible in the training development of the staff.
Ideally you will be a tertiary qualified Civil/Structural Engineer with at least 15 years post graduate experience within the Consulting Engineering in the areas of Geotechnical Projects. This experience will have seen you work on and lead large scale projects including but not limited to underground structures, foundation analysis, temporary earth retaining structural design etc. Experience in underground tunnelling and subway projects will be highly regarded. You must have a liking for working in a Culturally Diverse environment and possess solid leadership in interpersonal. We seek someone who is able to provide leadership and contribute to the growth of the team. The candidate must be a registered Professional Engineer or PE (Geo).
