Vacancy : Electrical Supervisor urgently required for Oil & Gas Industry Sector in Abu Dhabi.
Minimum Requirements: Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Min. Ten (10) years experience in power generation and distribution networks. Preferable to have worked in an Oil, Gas or Petrochemical Plant.
Work Performed:
Directs and supervises operation and maintenance of the distribution system, electrical equipment in oil production areas approves Work Orders and passes them to Foreman for execution. Supervises the electrical maintenance of the Utilities Plants as well as the electrical system of the Loading Pumps. Carries all signed tasks, jobs in the planned shut down and advice on the status reached. Participates in the troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of faults and breakdowns. Participates in the diagnosis and repairs of major faults and breakdowns of underground cables, transformers, reactors, motors and switchgear up to 11,000 Volts. Carries out the preparation of planned maintenance programmes and ensures proper implementation of relevant parts for which he is responsible. Isolates and makes safe electrical equipment up to 11,000 Volts. Issues and cancels electrical danger notices and electrical equipment on all types of electrical equipment. Issues or receives Sanction to Test Certificates when required. Supervises the installation and maintenance of Cathodic Protection system within the Process area, Harbour, Sea Water Intake, Storage Tanks, Associated pipe work and Tanker Berths. Plans, directs and supervises through the Foreman, the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment associated with the Cathodic Protection. Conducts regular "Tool Box Talks" with his Workforce regarding routine (overhauls etc.) and non routine jobs. Carries out self inspection audits, STOP audits and BSA in his areas on regular basis. Update the HSE log books.
