My client is an international EPC contractor in the Oil and Gas industry with over 90 offices worldwide involved in multibillion dollar projects. They have been awarded a long term contract to provide EPC and PMC services for offshore oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia.
Due to project requirements a vacancy exists for a Subsea Pipeline Engineer to be based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering,
- Minimum 10 years experience in conceptual studies, FEED, detailed design and construction management of offshore and onshore pipelines and subsea systems
- Experience in offshore pipeline design and construction (shallow to medium water depth gas, oil and water injection pipelines and risers) as well as onshore pipeline design
- Gulf experience is preferable
Responsibilities
- Be the Subsea Pipeline Engineer on the project related to offshore pipelines and Subsea systems and to provide guidance and technical advice to the Pipeline Engineering team
- Pipeline design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards
- Pipeline route selection, to optimize costs of new pipelines
- Pipeline sizing and design to meet performance criteria
- Technical supervision of project designated pipeline engineers and designers in the execution of their duties
