We are currently seeking am experienced HSE Manager with a strong Oil and Gas background to work for the client’s PMC on a major EPC project.
Candidates will be supervising the EPC contractor on a multi billion dollar Refinery expansion project.
Based 12 months in Seoul during the engineering and design phase before moving to the UAE, this is a long term project and a long term role with an internationally renowned company.
Role and Responsibilities of the HSE Manager: Including but not limited to the following:
Supervises and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel in the contractor’s HSE Teams.
Develops and directs all activities related to Health, Safety, Loss Prevention and Environment by implementing environmental control mechanisms and systems consistent with the client’s Health, Safety and Environment policy.
Plans, directs and controls the development of the divisional specific HSE programs, procedures and training plans inline with corporate guidelines to ensure availability of skilled and competent staff during emergencies.
Monitors, EPC contractor's HSE staff performance, provide proper guidance and intervene as necessary to ensure development of proper HSE professionals in the assigned division.
Supports division management in the implementation of Emergency Response Procedures, Safety Management system and HSE safety incentive schemes.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position on large oil and gas projects.
Fluent with ability to speak, read and write in English
Must have handled independently plot plan reviews, and have the expertise to manage FEED deliverables.
