Project Engineer - Marine

Our client has a proud Australian history dating back nearly 50 years. They are a leading Engineering, Construction and Services Company operating across the Asia Pacific region with the bulk of their work in heavy civils, marine, power and process, and water. This position is working within the Civil Engineering division working on predominately marine and civil infrastructure projects both on and off-shore.

This is an Indonesia based position originating from Jakarta.

You will be responsible for carrying out daily surveillance of construction related activities during the construction of the project and liaising with both the clients and management to ensure all necessary information is obtained and actioned as appropriate, including developing an excellent working relationship both on and off site to ensure all projects are delivered to Quality, Time and Budget.

For you to be to be successful in this role and develop your career, you must have appropriate tertiary qualifications with a minimum 5 years' experience in the design and construction of piling, retention systems and ground remediation and improvement. Exposure to SMP and bulk earth works additionally is ideal. Understanding and knowledge of quality systems, current OH & S legislation, environmental requirements and codes of practice applicable to groundworks and infrastructure projects is highly desirable. Experience of working on Marine construction projects is of benefit.
