Marine Technical Representatives M/W
Located in France (Paris area)
Coming from all Europe, you will be based in France (Paris area) for a successful integration within the company. Being part of a team headed by a Marine Technical Manager you will be responsible to oversee vessels from a single Ship Manager contracted to operate either Chartered or Company Owned vessels.
You will liaise with ship-managers and promote a professional and cordial business relationship as a key issue. In charge for all the technical aspects, you will coordinate Vessel Technical stops with the respective Ship Manager Superintendent, participate in safety audits, review and propose continuous vessel improvement initiatives.
As a referent of safety and quality standards, you will collect analyze and prepare information for risk plans, and will oversee the Seismic Work Boat maintenance program.
With a merchant navy degree (C1NM or C2NM), mechanical Engineer degree or equivalent, you have a first significant experience in a ship-owning company, in a classification society, a repair/ conversion yard, an engine supplier or an oil & gas contractor.
Fluency in English is compulsory; French would be appreciated.
This position is assuming a good availability.
Able to anticipate technical matters and implement quick and efficient solutions, you are autonomous but appreciate team work.
You have good ability to listen and a strong communication sense: this will make your success.
