Position Description 1. Must have thorough working knowledge of the NEC. 2. Capable to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the applicable Saudi Aramco Standards and Applicable Saudi Aramco Splicing Certifications requirements or equivalent. 3. Preferably to be NACE level II or other equivalents. 4. Must have experience in analog, digital, and pneumatic instruments. 5. Must be certified in NICET Level I (Industrial Instrumentation Fire Alarm System or equivalent) 6. Be capable to provide training and technical guidance for junior inspectors. 7. Has fair knowledge of PC applications, (word, excel, power point). Minimum 10 years experience in Electrical inspection duties in construction and quality control and assurance (QA/QC) in petroleum industries. Selection Criteria *BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with excellent background of cathodic protection as major discipline. *Ten (10) years experience preferably in oil and gas process industry with very good engineering background of corrosion engineering on pipelines and tanks. *Knowledge of Saudi Aramco and oil industry standards and code for corrosion engineering of process piping and tanks. *NACE certification in corrosion and coating. *Valid Saudi Driver license. *Vision is 20/20. *Very good interpersonal and communication skills. *Very good compute skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) *Excellent command of oral and written English with capabilities to write and present technical papers. Minimum Requirements A. EDUCATION: B.S. in Engineering B. EXPERIENCE: Five years of professional experience, preferably in the oil or similar process industry, including at least two (2) years as Saudi Aramco Inspector Engineering or four (4) years of direct inspection experience. -ORA. Completion of ITC: English, ERW; Math, MT; Science, ST. B. Experience required: Thirteen (13) years minimum. Must have 2 years experience as Saudi Aramco Inspector Engineering or 13 years industrial experience including 10 years inspection experience in the assigned discipline. C. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: A thorough knowledge of English is required to perform work as described and make clear and concise verbal and written reports and keep up with technical advancements. Arabic not required, but desirable for expatriate incumbents in this position. Must read, write and speak English fluently. D. Must have a valid Saudi drivers license. E. Must have good vision (20/20 normal or corrected) and be in good physical condition. F. Must be willing to work at high elevations and in confined spaces. G. Must be willing to work in assigned areas. H. Must be computer literate with competence in Microsoft Office products (i.e. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and knowledge of other SA systems utilized within the specific discipline and required by the individual Depts. ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENTATION: Must be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the applicable Saudi Aramco Standards. Must be able to demonstrate through ID Certification program or equivalent a thorough working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) certification test conducted by and certification issued by Inspection Dept. or any recognized certifying entity. Must have experience in analog, digital, and pneumatic instruments. Must be certified NICET Level II in Industrial Instrumentation and Fire Alarm Systems or equivalent. Preferred to have NCPCCI certification in Electrical General, or equivalent. Also, Quality Management System registered/certified auditor (IRCA/RABQSA) and NACE Corrosion Technologist and IAEI-Residential Electrical Inspector.
