Job Description

Great opportunity with a client located in Central IL for a PLC and SCADA Programmer with an above average electrical knowledge preferably within the power generation industry or closely related field. This position will be involved in the full life cycle of a project from receiving reading and interpreting project write-ups and engineering drawings through completion. A strong background in electrical power generation with a knowledge of the engine/generator set industry is desired. Experience in any of the following: Allen Bradley Modicon GE Fanuc and Siemens is also desirable. Experience with AutoCAD a knowledge of electrical theory and a competent knowledge of power generation components is needed. Experience with creating and reading logic and flow diagrams for program design programming simulation and testing and start-up is a plus. A Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is desirable although non-degreed candidates with applicable on-the-job experience will also be considered.
