TECHNICIAN/ MAINTENANCE /FIBER OPTICS { Temp to Perm } A National Company that provides integration and network support services and solutions is actively seeking FIELD TECHNICIANS in KLAMATH FALLS OR area. The qualified candidate will handle maintenance Tickets for WDM Fiber Optic equipment on a 24/7 basis for 8 unmanned Telecom buildings located in: Eugene Or. Oakridge Or. Chemult Or. Klamath FallsOr. Tulelake Ca. Burney Ca. Palo Cedro Ca. and Corning.Ca. In addition the qualified candidate MUST OWN A LAPTOP and should have a working knowledge of Fiber optic transmission. Formalized training will be provided at the manufactures lab site in the Baltimore Md. Area and supplemented by Computer based courses. The company will also provide the software and a tool kit with the necessary hand tools and test equipment components for the right candidate. Applicants with High School Diploma Associate's Degree or higher are very encouraged to apply. The candidate will be paid on an hourly salary for the required work and will be paid also on the amount of dispatches. Candidates will be paid on a retainer plus hourly salary for actual work completed. Mileage for use of automobile will be paid portal to portal.
