Job Description

An international energy provider has an immediate need for an experienced Project Manager. This position will begin as a contract position and transition to a permanent role in several months. In this role you will be responsible for new power plant projects from the development and bid procurement to greenfield to commercial applications. Initially you will work in Houston and eventually be traveling overseas to South America China and Turkey. To be considered you must have a minimum of 5 years in power plant construction project management with a successful record of going from greenfield to commercial application including working with EPC contractors and managing change orders. A college degree is preferred however equivalent experience will be considered in highly qualified candidates. This position will eventually require extensive travel to foreign soil for long periods. Per diem is available. Relocation to Houston may be required once the position is secured.
