Our Client is recognised as a renowned leader in the field of ship repairs and FPSO/Offshore conversion projects. With substantial projects across the globe and an ever increasing workbook within the region, they are looking for competent and professional Planning and Scheduling Engineers to lead and be part of their project management team.
As a Planning Engineer, you will be in charge of preparing barcharts and schedules for projects during the tender stage. You will then be involved in progress monitoring and manpower allocations, and produce reports on the progress on a regular basis. You will work out the effects of various factors on the project completion deadline and duration. Safety will also be a component in the planning and execution of such works.
Ideally, you should possess a minimum of a Diploma in engineering, and you should have experience with planning softwares such as Primavera and MS Project, which would include the analysis of work information to solve related problems. Your project planning experience should be at least 3 years long, and encompass heavy engineering projects.
