Our Client is a leading international EPC corporation. In line with their Global expansion goals, they are looking for a dynamic & competent Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist to join their Asia Pacific team.
The role of a SCM specialist encompasses the overall management of all SCM activities from the tendering stage through project commencement & execution to completion. His/her main responsibilities cover the development & implementation SCM strategic plan that include but not limited to location sourcing, project requirement, procurement packages etc in order to meet the engineering and construction needs. The successful candidate would have seen having experience in risk management in third party supplier prime contract considerations by executing effective & reliable SCM strategies; and submission of appropriate reports on the progress of the SCM activities from tendering to completion stage of the project.
To succeed in this role, it is expected that you will possess a minimum of 5 years experience involving subcontracts, purchasing, expediting, QA/QC and logistics within the Oil & Gas EPC sector in a project based environment. You must possess an in dept and good understanding of the dynamics of project execution and execution of supporting SCM activities. Candidates must also have good communication skills and an excellent team player. It is envisaged that you will possess diploma or degree Qualifications in Engineering or any related discipline.
