Part of a significant MNC, our client is a global leader in delivering engineering and project management services to the upstream hydrocarbons industry.
As a Lead Process Engineer, you will be reporting directly to the Manager of Projects and are primarily responsible for the progress and quality of assigned tasks with the process area.
You will need to ensure that all work conforms to the specified engineering codes & standards and is delivered within time schedule and cost budget. You are also responsible for training and supervision of junior team members.
As a key point of contact, you will liaise and coordinate with colleagues of the other engineering disciplines in ensuring timely production of deliverables. You will be responsible of the production of technical reports, documentation, management and execution of Process Studies while, also seeking constant development and improvement of quality and process design methods. You will need to develop and provide innovative and cost effective solutions to clients for operating problems and capacity constraints in existing Oil & Gas operations.
Ideally, you have a degree in Chemical Engineering with at least 8 years of post graduate Process Engineering experience, in the onshore or offshore Oil & Gas or Petrolchemical industry. You must have extensive experience in conceptual and detailed designing of Oil & Gas facilities and process equipments, with high proficiency in using process simulation software such as HYSYS and PRO/11 and commercial softwares including spreadsheets and word processing packages. We also seek a proven ability to manage and lead projects with solid leadership and communication skills.
