One of Australia's largest multidisciplinary engineering consultancies has an opening for a senior buildings communications engineer in their Sydney office to work on major building projects both in Australia and overseas.
Working as part of a team on multidisciplinary projects as well as separately on IT specific projects, you will be asked to design networks, cabling systems, audio visual and video conferencing facilities, electronic security, as well as other IP based systems associated with modern building design.
Projects include some of the largest and most prestigious in the world including general commercial buildings, super high rise towers, hospitals, sports stadiums, airports, stations, retail malls, defence establishments, and industrial complexes.
As a senior consultant you will be given responsibility for financial control, marketing, team management and for assisting in the development of junior engineers.
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or diploma; at least six years communications systems design experience, good verbal and writing skills and an ability to develop good working relationships with clients.
