Leading International Consulting Firm in the Gulf Location: Doha, Qatar Excellent Tax Free Expatriate Salary Package Our client, one of the largest international consulting firms in the Gulf region, has created this fantastic expatriate opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team and work on a prestigious residential project with a value at over USD 1.3 Billion. Our client has secured the contract to work on this project which will see 6,000 posh housing units located in a massive complex equipped with modern amenities. The Contracts Manager will be working closely with the Project Team Leader and will be mainly responsible for: - Establishing pre-qualification criteria - Preparing Consultancy Contracts - Reviewing Tender Documents - Preparing contracts for construction contract packages - Administration of construction contracts - Claims and Dispute Management, etc The successful candidate must: - Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (such as Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering). - Have over 15 years experience in Contract Execution / Contracts Management (pre-contract & post-contract) as a Client’s/Consultants representative. - Have a strong background in FIDIC Administration of mega projects with a sound technical background and extensive experience as a specialist on claims counter management. - Possess experience working on large-scale building projects valued up to USD 100+ million including commercial and residential projects. - Use English as a first language (this is essential). - Have excellent communication skills.
