Our client is a leader in Australia in civil engineering and building and only employs the best in the business. They are now seeking a Civil Construction Manager to join the Melbourne based team.
With projects in hand valued at billions of dollars and with significant opportunity to bid on a number of large infrastructure projects throughout the southern states of Australia. They have decided to increase their management team and are looking for an experienced Construction Manager or Project Manager who is now ready to move up and manage a number of large civil engineering projects.
Your role will be to lead, support and manage the construction teams and ensure adequate resources and risk management is in place. Reporting to the civil divisional manager you will be part of the management team and your role in addition to managing profitable project delivery via project manages, will also be active in building client relationships and developing repeat business.
To fulfill this position, you will need strong leadership experience and a proven track record of successfully managing a number of project delivery teams. Have a background in construction management, exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written, in order that you can negotiate, persuade and interact at all levels with all stakeholders in both the private and government sectors.
