OUTSTANDING CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY! Hi-tech company in southern California north of San Diego has a great opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a contract position lasting at least 6 months. This engineer will design the internals of electronic components including design of Printed Circuit Board ( PCB ) constraints heat dissipation shielding for electromagnetic and radio frequency interference ( EMI / RFI ) connector design and selection and completion of engineering drawings. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5 + years experience in mechanical design in high volume consumer electronics using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3 and Pro/Intralink 3.4. Must know sheet metal design miniature connectors and have experience using Statistical Tolerance Analysis GDandT and ANSI Y14.5. No per diem available so only local candidates or those willing to self-relocate will be considered.
