EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY!!! A Custom Boat Builder is searching for a Naval Architect for its Southern Louisiana facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience in vessel design. A Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering or a related field is required. Candidates must be able to work packages interface with designers and have extensive AutoCAD Excel and Word experience. Strong analytical written and verbal communication skills are required. ShipConstructor NavCAD Power Prediction software Yacht and styling design experience is a PLUS!!! This position is responsible for developing naval architecture structure and system calculations to support the vessel design team. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
