Engineering company in Charlotte NC has a great opportunity for Electrical - Transmission and Distribution Lines - Designers. Requires 3 to 5 years experience in designing above and-or underground Transmission and Distribution Lines; i.e. ing wood steel pole and lattice towers at 69kV 115kV 230kV 345kV and 500kV. Other duties include preparing bid specifications and standards requirements experience in material take-offs structure placement conductor and line hardware counterpoise and other transmission line related design activities. Excellent CAD skills a must - AutoCAD and-or MicroStation. This is a full time job but the client is willing to hire short and-or long term contractors. No relocation or per diem are available so only local Charlotte area candidates preferred.
