Excellent Temp-to-Perm or contracting opportunity: Engineering client in Charlotte needs a Senior Substation Designer with physical substation layout experience . Prepare project packages for multiple high voltage electrical substations that include one line schematic and wiring diagrams physical layouts for electric substation construction material lists for relay control metering. Prepare estimates and project schedules. This requires at least an Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years direct experience in substation layout and design in the utility industry with experience in substation layout and design and relay and controls standards. Must be expert in using AutoCAD and MicroStation experience is a plus. Experience directing the workflow of others is desired as well.
