Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years experience in electrical substation transmission system distribution systems or power generation design. This engineer is responsible for operation and maintenance of existing substations and high voltage collection systems as well as design and installation of new systems. Must have experience with design and operation of substations and transmission systems up 500kV including conceptual layouts specification development bus calculations and clearances. Previous work with wind solar or other renewable energy is a major plus and PE Registration is desired. Some travel up to 2 weeks is required. Excellent benefits package. No relocation is required as long as you live near a major airport.
