Job Description

Well respected power generation company is seeking a seasoned Lead Cost Engineer for direct hire position to be based in central Florida. Candidate will be assigned to the Transmission Project and Generation Construction Management group in central Florida. Key responsibilities include assigned cost engineering and trending functions including cost control monitoring analysis and reporting. Candidate provides day-to-day cost engineering support to project team and detailed monitoring and analysis of project budgets and actuals and provides support to project financial reporting and trending functions and the invoice/billing process as required. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Construction Management or Business Management and 10-15 Years Project Controls experience desired including specific exp in field cost control including craft labor control quantity reporting construction materials and equipment control desired. Candidate should have prior cost control experience on Large EPC construction projects. Any additional exp in other areas of project controls (planning scheduling estimating etc) desirable.
