Well respected power delivery organization is seeking a power delivery substation field technician for a direct hire position just north of Dallas TX. Candidate must have 5+ years substation experience and will be responsible for operating maintenance and inspection functions on transmission and/or distribution high voltage substation facilities on both routine and emergency basis. Candidate will make routine and special operational tests on various substation equipment record test results and report any abnormal conditions. Graduation from the Transmission CAPS program is preferred. Must be available for overtime and call-out work. This position will be responsible for the patrol function at transmission facilities in Collin County and will be required to live somewhere near the Plano Allen and McKinney area. The successful candidate will be supplied with a company truck laptop computer and cellphone. Annual salary in the $65k range plus overtime and incentive pay. Keywords: power
