Job Description

Our power client in southern Montana is ACTIVELY SEARCHING for an EandI Technician! Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: inspecting testing adjusting and repairing electrical circuits electronics and mechanical and pneumatic instruments that control power plant operations; testing the accuracy of various instruments such as flowmeters pressure gauges controllers radiation counters or detectors to locate defective components in a system by using test equipment (pressure gauges oscilloscopes ampmeters voltmeters and others); and preparing or modifying schematic drawings sketches and reports to reflect changes made in instruments circuits and systems. Successful candidates MUST HAVE a high degree of Process and Mechanical aptitude achieved preferably through previous experience in EandI work in operation of boilers turbines and other plant equipment. MUST be able to use algebra geometry or shop math on the job and be able to understand and communicate using technical written and spoken English.
