Job Description

Client located in the Orlando FL area has temp to hire possible immediate direct hire openings for Senior RF Systems Technicians with technical and operational experience in the field of radio telecommunications. These positions will be responsible to conduct repairs of components for the VHF/UHF and 800/900 MHz analog and digital Radio System including digital portables mobiles base stations repeaters antennas consoles radio trucking controllers Quantar / Quantro base stations Centracom Gold Elite consoles systems central electronic banks and associated interface equipment as well as alignment of microwave infrastructure items such as transmitters receivers multiplexers modulators/demodulators alarm control unit modems timing systems Smartzone and Smartnet communication systems. Experience with programming and or template building for Motorola radio equipment is also desired. To be considered candidates must have approximately 3 or more years experience in the radio and communication area and an extensive knowledge / understanding of two way radio theory and communications systems. The ability to use various types of testing equipment including: Oscilloscopes Amp meters Voltmeters Ohmmeters Service monitors watt meter system analyzers spectrum analyzers is required. An FCC general radio telephone operator license FCIA NABER or equivalent industry certification a plus.
