Job Description

PROCESS ENGINEER needed by a highly regarded firm in southeastern Pennsylvania. Require a BS Degree in Industrial Chemical Manufacturing Mechanical Pulp and Paper or equivalent educational disciplines and a minimum 2 years experience in process engineering. A PLUS to have experience with manufacturing analysis tools such as: SPC (statistical process control) Six Sigma Kaizen etc.; maintenance and operations or implementing capital projects. Position supports process plant operations and production recommending and implementing improvements and modifications monitoring and evaluating operations sequence and equipment use; evaluating quality controls and production; and reviewing vendor proposals for new equipment or upgrades. Will lead team on product or process improvement projects; guiding evaluation redesign development and optimization of process for improvements in output quality reliability and safety; and identify and evaluate complex technical issues/problems and recommend solutions.
