Excellent ELECTRICAL ENGINEER growth opportunity for a well-respected firm in Connecticut. Requires BS Degree in Electrical Engineering Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. Also experience or certification with the following: Six Sigma APICS Lean Manufacturing Pull System KAN BAN EOQ Process Flows and Kiasen Mfg (Toyota Way). Need 3 to 5+ years hands-on electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment supporting capital projects and improvements. A PLUS to have pulp and paper related manufacturing experience or any experience in large scale Electrical Assembly and test operations. Position will work on a variety of capital and expense projects to design and develop approaches for optimizing manufacturing and support processes. Will evaluate production needs; troubleshoot operational problems; lead/support capital projects and major maintenance up to $1 million developing initial conceptual designs; develop optimize manufacturing and supporting processes; apply applicable standards and safety requirements; and manage project designs and implementations with a focus on technical quality OandM cost and schedule.
