URGENT NEED! Northwestern Kentucky steel transformation manufacturer seeks a skilled Electronics Maintenance Technician. Local Candidates Only! Selected candidate wil troubleshoot electronics systems manage projects and manage Preventive Maintenance Systemt. REQUIRES: High School diploma (Associates degree in electronics or programming preferred); 2 years experience as an electronics maintenance tech in an industrial environment; Knowledge of Siemens PLC Allen-Bradley PLC Eurotherm Drives ABB Drives; Proficiency with digital and analog electronics and data acquisition equipment (oscilloscopes and logic analyzers); Understanding of complicated electrical and mechanical schematics blueprints bill of materials; Advanced error proofing and problem solving techniques; Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support internal customers regarding failures in machines and equipment; Support manufacturing test failures through conducting testing troubleshooting and repair down to the component level of machines; Assist in failure analysis (root cause) and error proofing in the plant; Mentors and trains other technicians. This person will be groomed to take on the maintenance supervisor's daily responsibilities. Electrical journey man's license is a plus.
