Great Opportunity! Leading edge company in Power Technology is searching for a Senior Power Electronic Engineer to be responsible for the design and implementation of high power high frequency three phase inverters. Associated responsibilities will include performing circuit simulations using PSPICE (Personal Simulation Program of Integrated Circuit Emphasis); coordinating with project managers mechanical engineers and mechanical designers; documenting physical designs including schematics and bills of material: conducting internal design reviews; calculating component stresses and performing magnetics designs. You must have a BS in Electrical Engineering ( MS preferred) and at least 8-years experience in High Voltage Systems with thorough knowledge of motor drive design for high power applications. Must have knowledge of ORCAD (electronic design automation software tool) and PSIM (Power System Simulation software). MATLAB (a numerical computing environment and programming language) would be a plus. You must have a thorough knowledge of how to meet regulatory requirements including EMC.
