Job Description

Engineering and construction company is seeking an Electrical Substation Engineer for direct hire position in Orlando FL. Requires a BSEE and 2-8 years of experience in electrical substation design. Must be knowledgeable of physical layouts electrical clearances conduit raceway and grounding designs and have understanding of electrical substation controls and the interface requirements with power plants. Responsible for engineering work on complex engineering projects particularly retrofit projects. Prepare schematics and wiring diagrams on substation projects. Maintain records lists and reports to ensure compliance with the clients schedule budget and procurement requirements and be able to monitor the project and solve problems as they arise.
