Job Description

Electrical / Controls Engineer A leader in water and wastewater technology products and services has an immediate opening for an Electrical / Controls Engineer in southwest California. Candidate must have a BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) and at least 5 years experience in controls instrumentation and PLC/HMI programming. In addition experience in good manufacturing and design practices for Electrical Control Panels and familiarity with NEC and UL 508 codes is required. Computer efficiency with AutoCAd and Windows based applications is also required. Experience is the water/wastewater industry would be a plus. This position will be responsible for performing electrical engineering design work including designing control panels HMI and PLC programming preparing schematics testing control panels and troubleshooting equipment. Translating customer specifications into usable engineering documentation and providing technical advice to peers and customers will also be a responsibility of this position.
