Our strong and sustained growth is a result of having the best pipeline engineers and consultants in our team. We are now seeking a Principal Pipeline Engineer to join our Melbourne team. We are looking for exceptional candidates with experience in design and project management in the oil and gas and pipeline industry. The role will be involved in pipeline and facilities projects for Australian or international locations, including EPCM, detailed engineering design, FEED studies, Owner's Engineer, feasibility studies and due diligence for major clients. You will: • Make professional engineering decisions not normally subject to technical review • Supervise and take technical control of and responsibility for teams of professionals • Act as the principal technical reference authority and provide technical leadership for all related engineering activities • Promote a world class approach in terms of design, quality and commercial viability • Manage the client interface and build strong relationships You will have: • Appropriate engineering degree qualification or equivalent plus 15+ years relevant onshore pipeline industry experience • Extensive project engineering and/or management experience in pipeline industry • Highly developed leadership, communication, team and interpersonal skills • Strong commitment to leading, motivating and mentoring staff • Highly developed time and task management • Sound understanding of Australian codes, regulations and Standards or equivalent international standards If you are looking to work in a successful engineering practice that offers challenging roles, career opportunities, and a great work environment, then we would like to talk to you.
