SMT Operator About the Job My client is a global leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of advanced control and automation systems. Our systems set the world standard for corporate communication and video conferencing facilities, educational distance learning and resource sharing, and home automation and entertainment. Our products are marketed worldwide through a network of over 7000 dealers and distributors, and supported by satellite offices worldwide. Responsible for surface mount manufacturing, experience person needed for both manual and automated equipment. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT equipment. Monitors and maintains equipment to meet company standards. May be responsible for quality assurance and documentation. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Required Skills: Able to perform equipment set-up. Knowledge of components and commonly used concepts, practics and procedures. Computer experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), ERP (i.e.SAP) Organized with attention to detail and able to communicate properly. Must be able to work in Australia without sponsorship.
