I operated the Tikrit Retail Warehouse which supplies offensive and defensive equipment including weapons and ammunition to Iraqi Police and National Guard. Controlled inventory of all equipment issued to IP and IA. Design programs to track and verify all equipment issued from our warehouse including monitoring and repair of weapons and ammunition. Control and track inventory of 10,000 line items. Set up internet satellite link and radio link to enhance communication with other LDI sites. Trained Iraqi national employees in use of computer, tracking and issuing of inventory. Also tracked police vehicles issue and maintenance. Set up security protocol to improve personal and warehouse safety in a war zone. Negotiated with local people to acquire many of the day to day operational supplies and maintenance services we require to operate efficiently on the local market. Assigned position of “Acting Director Iraq Program” operations in Iraq from September to December 2005, standing in for management KIA. Promoted to Assistant Director December 2005. During the 2 years I worked in Iraq approximately 84 hours each week I worked alone in battle space known as triangle of death without protection of US Military or Personal Security Forces (PSD team).
