Summary |
• Twenty years diversified, multinational, exploration, development and production experience of the Oil & Gas Supply Chain Management involving logistics (marine, air & land), contracts, purchasing, tender evaluation, material control, expediting and administration;
• Start-up and supervision of all shore base activity to enable delivery of equipment, materials & men offshore without incurring downtime of the rig including all helicopter activities;
• Management of warehouse/yard including material inventory control, manifesting, personnel work programs and loading, bulking & bunkering operations of the offshore supply vessels;
• Adherence to Safety procedures & implementation of Quality Management guidelines to ISO 9000 involving training and QA/QC of material handling equipment;
• Familiar with both offshore shallow & deepwater (17,000 ft.) semi-sub, jack-up, platform, FPSO & land drilling, production, off-takes, construction & installation operations, equipment, technology and procedures (including Emergency Response Procedures, HSE, API Certification, Inspection, Benchmarking, etc);
• Knowledge of and ability to contract for various vessels (up to 22,000 BHP AHTS) required for different offshore operations and the ability to set the critical specifications, tender and charter for them and both fixed and rotary wing air services as well as medevac and oil spill services;
• Experience of liaising and working with Customs, local government officials, authorities, drilling contractors and suppliers;
• Computer literate (MS Office, Lotus 1-2-3, SAP, SUN, SUMMS, EMA and the Shell MESC system) with good speaking skills and writing ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and various departments, suppliers and service companies;
• Personable and familiar with working in international environments with different peoples & religions having worked in: The North Sea, UKCS, Egypt, Holland, Libya, Qatar, USA, Dubai, Armenia, Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, Benin, Nigeria, Somalia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Russia, Italy and Vietnam.
