Engineering Manager
Manage the engineering work activities for all ongoing projects within the company. The duties include assigning work loads to team members, evaluate available resources to achieve projects’ goals, perform strategic planning for projects, attract potential projects and prepare proposals. The duties include communication with upper management and lay out future financial plans to confirm with the firm objectives.
Responsibilities include supervising all professional personnel within all projects teams to achieve the company’s targets.


Project Engineer
Manage all work activities for the Key Stone pipeline project. This Oil pipeline is a $5.2 billions that will travel from Alberta, Canada to reach Illinois, USA. Responsibilities include overseeing the various stages of development of the engineering design for 16 pump stations in Canada as well as coordinating the design of 23 pump stations is USA. Conrdinations involves the communication with Bechtel company in USA as a construction manager for the project. Duties are to make sure that the various parts of the project are progressing in a timely fashion, and that the project works as a whole. This includes scheduling and planning, time management, Engineering Work Packages (EWP) production, supervising approximately 56 team members, and maintaining a high intigrity of performance between the project team within the project scope.

Project Manager:
Manage all work activities for three power supply projects for Oil and Gas Plants of a value of $250 millions.
Duties include Project planning and scheduling, finalization of the design and layout drawing for all the projects in coordination with the engineers and consultants. Finalise tender documentation, selection of vendors. Prepare tender evaluation report and recommend for final approval. Attend all follow-up progress meetings and co-ordination meetings. Verification and finalization of contract documents. Follow up with the project schedule and ensure the completion as targeted. Verify and approve completion certificates, as built drawings and O&M. Coordinating the consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers’ activities and time frame.
Investigate the completion of the Construction Work Packages; Organizing all procedures on and off site to ensure the project is completed on time and within the cost constraints set.

Infrastructure Manager:
To develop a management system to optimize Alberta's Roads and Bridges conditions. The tasks included strategic planning, feasibility studies, resources monitoring, cost minimization, and time management for the system development. The system required the development of economical models to manage current and future expenditures. Value engineering methods were applied to fit budgets to requirements. Prediction for current and future funding needs calculations was conducted, and optimization for the available funding was included. The Team included 3 professional engineers, 2 business analysts, and 6 programmers. The system budget is $55 millions to manage and optimize maintenance activities for the $19.4 billions roads and bridges in the province.

Consultant:
Develop an Infrastructure Management tool: Proactive system to plan and program Future Budgets and Rehabilitation activities for the underground Sewer infrastructure network in the City of Edmonton. The system can evaluate the current sewer network condition and predict the future deterioration trends. Current and future funding needs are calculated accordingly. Two phases of the project are completed and third phase is currently in completion process.

Project Engineer:
Strategic Planning and plans execution for the $9.0 billion Oil Sand Upgrade Expansion project.
Technical, quality, and Control Manager for the $550 millions Froth Treatment Plants. Set up the whole department, developed job descriptions, Flow of work, assigned work tasks to each team member, supervised the 14 team members on a daily basis, and ensured that working hours are within the planned budgets.
Managing and coordinating the process execution for 2 plants within the project (Value of $150 million). This included coordinating the delivery of several Construction Work Packages (CWP) containing civil works, pipe racks, instrumentation, and electrical and mechanical works. The work required the confirmation and coordination with the Project Control team to ensure that activities are within the assigned schedules and funds

Assistant Professor:
Collaboration with commercial and heavy industry (mainly Oil and Transportation) to enhance productivity and quality. Assisting contractors and owners in project management and control issues.
Teaching and Research in Project Management, operation research, and Construction management. Research activities were how to predict and avoid future problems in project execution.

Cost Analyst / Project Control / Field Engineer:
Oil Plant construction for TOTAL Oil, Onshore and Offshore Pipeline construction for SUCO, waste water treatment facilities, civil and mechanical work for power plants, and desalination plants construction. Conducting and supervising all project management, construction management, contract administration phases for the projects. This including Project work break down structure, Cost Estimate, procurement, project control, and contract administration.
