I have worked with NIRMA LTD. (Soda ash division ,Heavy chemicals) at Bhavnagar since 11/10/04 to 21/08/06 as an Electrician.
I have worked with S.G. TECHNOLOGY SERVICES LTD. Baroda from 01/01/04 to 08/10/04.This Company engaged with energy audits, to take measurements at the client’s site and implement suggestions given to them.

CURRENT EMPLOYMENT
Presently working with SHARJAH CEMENT & IND.DEVP.CO.( Cement Plant ) from 30/09/2007 as an Electrician.

NATURE OF JOBS
 Carries out the skilled installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of high and low voltage equipments and associated systems such as generator, motors, transformers, UPS , rectifiers, batteries, switch gears, protection relays, microprocessor based control and protection systems, variable speed drives, control panels and substations.
 Receives incoming work requests from Supervisor with comments on required work, examines faulty equipment to determine work scope and requirement, obtains necessary tools and spare parts and proceeds to worksite to carry out the job
 Carries out the skilled electrical faultfinding, diagnosis and defect repairs of high and low voltage equipment, switch gear, control panels and associated wiring circuits in the assigned plant. Includes examining wiring and circuit diagrams to trace systems and locate faults and measuring and checking tolerances of wires and connections. Determines the fault and the appropriate method of repair and carries out or directs such work. Includes tightening all connections, carrying out resistivity tests, changing fuses, bulbs and glasses and replacing electronic cards/relays and sets of components on control panels
 Carries out the routine predictive and preventive maintenance checks on electrical equipment such as high and low voltage motors, transformers, generator equipment, motorized valves, high and low voltage switch gear, control panels and relay stations. Work includes visual inspection of equipment, checking the bearings of various motors, measuring and recording details of windings, greasing bearings, tightening terminals, connections, etc. Checks for oil leakages, investigates terminal box desiccators for incorrect coloring and removing and laying out as necessary.
 Carries out specialized electrical maintenance or repair work in assigned location on primary and secondary systems of high and low voltage equipment. Includes cleaning all ventilator ducts, checking oil levels, checking transformer auxiliary equipment for correct connection and operation and cleaning various connections and parts as applicable. Carries out various tests and records readings taken on insulation resistances, tests oils for breakdown voltages, and carries out secondary injection tests of motor thermal relays and testing motor earth leakage relays for correct operation.
 Performs routine electrical maintenance, repairs and tests on a variety of electrical equipment, systems and tools. Includes regular checks on battery banks and topping-up electrolyte levels. Maintains street and building lighting systems through replacement of lamps and starters, repairing circuit and faults, and checking water heaters, power sockets and distribution boxes. Maintains the electrical motors of a variety of workshop tools and equipment on lathes, drills and welding site. Also carries out all electrical activities during plant shutdown.
 Carries out any new electrical installations, modifications and reconnections of electrical equipment and systems under Supervisor's direction.
 Maintains records of equipment repairs carried out and draws the attention of the Engineer to the need for replenishment of spare parts and materials as required. Assists Supervisor in preparing basic data for annual budget requirements of manpower/material
 Complies with all safety and fire rules and regulations, including the use of protective clothing and equipment, and ensures that all personnel working in his area comply with safety regulations. Maintains worksites and repair shop in a clean and tidy condition.
 Carries out other similar or related duties as assigned, such as, providing necessary details for the preparation of maintenance reports, carrying out cable jointing and splicing and repairs to cable system on lower and high tension cables up to 11 KV, ensuring the availability and proper use of specialized tools and materials.
 Carries out new plant errection and commissioning work and also handle shift duty jobs indipendently,etc.
WORK CONTACTS
Daily contacts with Operations and Maintenance personnel up to supervisor level to acquire information on, and obtain necessary permits to isolate and deal with, faulty electrical equipment.


INDIPENDENCE OF OPERATION
Report to Electrical Supervisor. Work in accordance with specific maintenance procedure and technical standards. Work accomplishments are subject to spot-check.
