Employment History
Total Years of Work Experience: 4
Commenced Full Time Work: 2008
NameAirbus (via AKKA Technology)
Job Title:Industrialization Engineer
DurationFrom : 2008 To:

Summary
/Airbus via AKKA Technologies - Since November 2008, Getafe, Illescas & Puerto Real (Spain): Representative of the PLM/PDT software deployment: Delmia Process Engineering & DELMIA V5

In the context of PLM/PDT toolset transnational harmonization for the A350 program, I lead deployments of DPE (Delmia Process Engineer) and DPM (Delmia Process Manufacturing, simulation assembly workbenches into Delmia/Catia V5) for Spain (Getafe, Illescas and Puerto Real factories). I consequently follow those tool deployments (well installation, bugs/ errors fixing, enhancements development following user needs…), and, due to my expert testimony, I also daily assist end users in their job. Moreover, in order to help them to change their ways of working, my work consists to write methodologies (same for all Airbus plants: Germany, France, UK and Spain) and to create, schedule and animate trainings (training materials, use-cases and user guides definitions). As focal point, I report during transnational meetings in Toulouse (to the service charged of this tool harmonization), the aircraft process definition progress, the data status into the software and the tool improvements wished.

/Valeo transmissions - February to August 2008, Bobigny (France) & San-Luis-Potosi (Mexico): Production lines studies and layout definition (“Graduate” internship)

In a new Mexican factory construction context, my practice was to study the production line layout (flow simulations, buffer stock dimensioning and positioning, ergonomics…). Furthermore I had to do a 3D model of the complete factory, with production lines, in Catia V5. Likewise, I went to Mexico (at San Luis Potosi) to work on the layout with local manufacturing engineers, to discuss with providers about jigs and tools and to follow the factory building progress (and adjust in case the 3D model).

/EADS via Supmeca - January to February 2008, Saint-Ouen (France): Plane assembly line studies, design and 3D simulating (Final School project)

In order to deploy e-manufacturing (digital factory) concepts in its services, EADS Innovation Works wished to study the DELMIA V5 use for plane Final Assembly Line. For our final school project, my schoolmates and I used EADS data (productions flows, rates, operation sequencing…) to design, produce the data model and simulate assembly scenarios in 3D into Delmia V5 tool. Our results were introduced during a dedicated meeting with EADS, Supméca students and specialized press and allowed also to promote new Supméca specialization (« digital factory ») to student world.

/ PSA Peugeot Citroen - March to September 2007, Vélizy-Villacoublay (France): Finite elements tools and methodologies creation for dimensioning car in the pedestrian front crashes context (“Senior technician” internship)

In the EuroNCap rules background about pedestrian protection, the carmaker PSA Peugeot Citroën ahead studies its front bumpers. To reduce time computation (finite elements) done with a complete designed bumper, my internship was to develop a simple model (using plates and springs). Once results obtained were close enough than ones got with the complete model, methodologies and abacus (getting from experience feedbacks) were set up to avoid, from first sketches, wrong bumper geometries.

/ Société des Ingenieurs de l'automobile - February to September 2007, Paris (France): Studies and 3D design new kind of an unpolluting vehicle (Design and technical Challenge « Dream without polluting »)

For the yearly design and technical challenge, organized by the Automotive Engineering Society (Société des ingénieurs de l’automobile), two schoolmates and I studied a new vehicle with an unpolluting motorization and other various technical innovations (doors, trunks bodywork…). Moreover a design study and a 3D model were done with Catia V5
BUSINESS EXPERIENCES (NEXT)

/ Air france Industries April to June 2005, Orly (France): Specific maintenance tool, for Boeing 747, studies and 3D design (Technical internship)

For the Boeing 747 main maintenance visits, Air France Industries got some difficulties to extract pylon pins. My job was to study and design (3D model and blueprints were done with Inventor) a dedicated tool to facilitate operator job and reduce operative time

Work Experience
- Products design and 3D modelling (volumetric and surface design, rendering, blueprints, functional dimensioning and tolerancing …)
- Production systems design and 3D modelling (process simulation, e-manufacturing)
- Training (animation, trainings materials and use-cases creation, coaching)
- Technical support, methodologies writing, abacus creation
- Functional and value analysis, technical specifications creation
- Feasibility study, benchmarking, Supplier visiting
- Layout plan definition, workflow analysis, ergonomic study.
- Lean Manufacturing, Basics of Supply Chain Management
