The Project comprises of eleven (11) Bridges grouped into two major interchanges which connect the new Ras Al Khor Main Road to the existing OUD Metha and 2nd Za’abeel Roads. The OUD bridges also cross over the new Business Bay Canal with associated road works, consisting of a multitude of access roads, ramps and slipways including the widening and improvement to the existing OUD Metha and 2nd Za’abeel Roads..
Construction of 4.7km 5-lane dual carriageway Ras Al Khor Main Road, extending from the new Fourth Creek Crossing (Business Bay Crossing) to the limit of work with Contract R800/3B at Za’abeel area.
The Project also involves extensive construction of new utility services into specified reservations for water, electrical, telephone and internet lines, irrigation, drainage, sewer and street lighting with two storm water drainage pumping stations.
A 40m wide, 842m long dual carriageway underpass (EP-2D) was added to the scope of the Project, comprising about 26% of the original contract value.

Follow-up all approvals for “Request to Check” work and classify them according to the related bill of quantities in order to use them during preparation of interim payment certificates.
