• Managed the construction of $9M, 1.2 kilometers asphalt road, 2 numbers of 700 meters length slip roads in order to avoid traffic and to accommodate the increasing number of vehicles coming inside the Jebel Ali Port.
• Inspected all civil works at site to make sure that all activities were in accordance with the Project Specification, Standards, Contract Drawing, Project Quality Plan (PQP), Approved Method Statement and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Checked and verified the setting out points and elevations of original ground and proposed road make-up using surveying instruments such as GPS, total station and level instruments in order to avoid future unfavorable circumstances.
• Witnessed the sampling of construction materials, field and laboratory testing of materials and trial mix of concrete and asphalt in order to maintain the quality of materials as per the requirement of Project Specification and JAFZA (Jebel Ali Port & Free Zone Authority) regulations.
