2006 to date Mechanical Designer, Idisa Ltd., Santiago

Chilean engineering company, dedicated to design and manufacture of shorting frames for electro winning cells, cathode & anode translation machines etc. The company has 20 employees and it has sales for about US$ 4 million annually.

Responsible of conceptual development of structural solutions, using 3d design tools (SolidWorks 2008, CosmosWorks), creating design & manufacturing drawings. Responsible of evaluate optimal arrangements, besides coordinate later input purchases, programming (MS Project) manufacture schedule

• I was involved in the whole structural modelation, by 3d software, avoiding interference problems, weight calculation and hole coincidence, renderized images for manuals and animations. Finally, i developed design & manufacture drawings.

• I completed design cycle, manufacture and on site assembly for the equipment sold by the company. Currently i´m working in the operation & maintenance manuals for the last machinery on Spence project for BHP Billiton.

• I was involved in decreasing repairing work of equipment through the tools provided in the software 3D, and that allow users to view and ensure accurate interference between mechanical systems.

• Development animations of the equipments in our catalog for commercial presentations.

• Participated in the design of filter band for Lithium Carbonate Plant to SQM, Iron Plants to Ferrominera and CCD thickeners Plant to "Minera Manquiri”, Potosi, Bolivia.

Chilean company dedicated to engineering, construction and erection of structures. It also has a division responsible for the generation of integral projects directed to lifting equipment supply and industrial buildings.

Responsible for carrying out drawings for proposals; take off materials and requirements for material for different projects; in charge of design solutions for formwork using software for design and calculation assisted by computer; in charge of programming manufacturing specialty products for the projects under implementation, and monitoring of the technical work. Responsible for monitoring and implementing the projects from its star until his final reception, which involves maintaining a constant communication channel with customers and giving solutions to their requirements, and evaluation and implementation of structural calculation software.

• Implemented structural calculation software, which permitted reducing in 20% the time spent in design solutions for formwork respect to the previous time.
