Work Experience |
Managing of all new projects, Starting from the initiation process, to the closing process, (Requirements, Contract Documents, Projects management plans, etc…), participate as a member of the tendering processes.
Coordinating with other divisions on all new projects requirements, starting from setting the requirements of offices to the sitting arrangements for their staff in different areas within Greater Khartoum and in other States.
Review Contractors proposed site organization, and report to the Senior Manager/ Director.
Review and approve/ comment on the design schedules as submitted by the Contractor and ensure the procurement schedules are in compliance and coordinated with current construction schedules.
Review and continuously monitor, against approved schedules, the Contractor’s major construction progress, and ensure equipments and manpower are adequate or incase of any shortage report to Senior Manager/ Director.
Review in detail the recovery schedules as submitted by the Contractors and ensure manpower and site supervision staff are increased properly.
Regular visits to project sites to validate whether the progress of work onsite is in compliance with approved schedules, major milestones have been met and report deficiencies to Senior Manager/ Director.
Review all daily, weekly and monthly reports as submitted by Contractor, and report to Senior Manager/ Director any deficiency or non compliance.
Review any claim involving time impact as submitted by Contractor and report his assessment to Senior Manager/ Director.
Review field design changes and trend notices and assess time impact if any.
Advice the Senior Manager/ Director of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective action to be taken.
Attend weekly progress meeting and monthly executive meetings and participate in preparing the agenda.
Assist Senior Manager/ Director during preparation of monthly progress report and monthly executive presentations.
Reviews the commissioning plans as submitted by the contractor and ensure its compliance with the approved Construction schedule.
Supervising all section staff, provide necessary on job training and recommend needed training for unit staff for their future development in line with company need.
Review and comment Architectural shop drawings, Method Statement and Materials submittals and ensure that all specification requirements had been covered with compliance with contract requirement and submitted as per construction schedule.
Properly coordinate with other discipline.
Closely inspect and monitor site activities (Architectural) to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirement, good construction practice.
Participate in reviewing Field Design Changes as submitted by the contractors.
Technical support and assessment to Contracts Engineer and cost engineer of trend notices, approved variations and claims (when raised by Contractors).
Advise PMC quality and safety engineer’s well as deputy project manager of noticed non compliance cases during site visits.
Continuous checks of architectural materials to site. Ensure its compliance with specifications.
Advice planning engineer and deputy project manager of any slippage of progress regarding site activities.
Attend technical meetings with Contractors.
Review spare parts, maintenance manuals, all architectural trades and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Participate with PMC disciplines in reviewing and close out report as submitted by Contractors.
Review architectural As-Built drawings as submitted by Contractor and make sure that all site conditions are properly addressed Check instructions are being carried out and non conformance rectified..
Reviewing of shop drawings, method statements, to ensure their compliance with the contract specifications, and assuring that all specification requirements had been covered.
