Summary
At age 22, I’m able to work independently with minimal supervision, ability to manage people, and one of the youngest to handle a project. Good planning and organizational skills, good analytical and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, fast learner and hard working. Ability to decide in technical matters using applicable codes like ASME/JIS standard or by experience. Able to communicate in English, both written and oral.

Has a total of five and a half (5½) years relevant experience in the field of Piping Design Engineering related to various Power Plant, Oil and Gas industry, and Petrochemical Plant. Three (3) years experience came form my previous job (Hitachi Ltd.), as a Fabrication Engineer dealing with preparation and issuance of detailed fabrication isometric drawing for construction. The remaining two and a half (2½) years experience is with Fluor Daniel, Inc. as a Piping Designer, job includes: (1) piping layout such as designing and engineering of pipes and pipe route from one equipment to another including pipe rack routing using Intergraph Plant Design System (PDS), Microstation Equipment 3D modelling, Smart Plant Review (SPR) and Smart Plant 3D (SP3D); (2) Provide piping plans and related piping isometrics that will supply construction and fabricators with sufficient details for prefabrication and installation of piping systems; (3) Coordinate piping design activities with other groups within Piping discipline to ensure control of piping material quantities, completion of piping model works, and stress analysis of required system; (4) Interface with the Equipment engineers establishing preliminary equipment data requirements and outlines. Review Supplier’s drawings for economic studies of equipment and piping systems; and (5) Prepare project planning, plot development, and design models for Client review. Interface with Construction and all design engineering and engineering groups during development.

Description:

1) 3D Pipe and Equipment Modeling, Designing and Engineering of pipes and pipe
route from one equipment to another using Smart Plant 3D (SP3D) to
accomplish assigned tasks within allotted schedule and budgeted hours.
2) Preparation and generation of Isometric drawing of piping to established
isometric count for SRU and TGTU process area.
3) Preparation, generation and checking of Material Take off (MTO) of piping for
TGTU – Unit 456
4) Produces and checks complex pipe route, and electronic file models in
accordance with applicable practices, codes, specifications, procedures and
specific contract requirements
5) Incorporating model review comments and Additional Design Requirements
(ADR) to piping models.
6) Manual MTO of small bore piping (4” and below) for TGTU - Unit 456
7) Checking of P&ID’s, Line List, SP3D models, and MTO template to established
consistent estimate of material to be used for TGTU – Unit 456
8) Parts of the responsibilities are to communicate and interface with other
