Career Summary:
Serving as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in a leading professional engineering organization that provides consultancy and design solutions to the power distribution & transmission stakeholders of Bangladesh power industry. About 15 years dedicated in planning & design of 11kV distribution & 33kV transmission network of Bangladesh Rural Electric Societies (RES). Carrying out of 11kV distribution system studies. Satisfactorily conducted Bangladesh 33 kV transmission network study for 70 RES all over Bangladesh. Participated in carrying out Distribution System Improvement Study under Dhaka & Postagola Cantonment. Carried out feasibility study for construction of 3(three) 10 MW generating stations. Associated with preparation of Bid Documents for installation of 30 MW power station.
Closely worked with Lahmeyer International,GmbH, Germany as a local consultant in carrying out Bangladesh power grid study (load flow, contingency & short circuit) at 132 kV & 230kV levels for installation of 450 MW Dhaka North Power Plant. Carried out feasibility study for construction of 132/33 kV grid sub-stations for 7 RES under greater Dhaka area transmission network. Actively participated in drafting the Scope of Services & Terms Of References (TOR) for conducting 132 kV rural power grid study along with 33 kV network planning for 70 RES all over Bangladesh.
Leading a team of Design Engineers engaged in planning, design & system studies for 10(ten) RES. As a Senior Design Engineer, guide & supervise their day-to-day works. As a resource person deliver lectures on distribution system in the workshop/training program organized by the Company’s training wing.
