It is an independent Oil and Gas Exploration and Development company with 4 blocks in India. Focus Energy holds Production Sharing Contract (PSC) to explore and develop onland and offshore oil and gas properties in India known as "RJ-ON/6", “RJ-ONN-2003/2”, “GK-ON/4” and "CB-OSN-2004/1" – encompassing a total area of 21,000 square Km
My key responsibilities are
Sample Catching: Collection of drilled rock cuttings at specific lag interval
Geologic Analysis: Microscopic analysis of rock cuttings for their lithologic characters
Labelling and Packing: Labelling and packing of samples
Real time monitoring: Recording, monitoring and evaluation of drilling parameters, tripping, gas levels, hydrocarbon content of rock cuttings
Installation of Sensors: Installation, calibration and maintenance of electronic sensors and gas panels
