Member of the construction team to successfully complete the building of a Diesel Hydrotreater within a major hazardous facility , duties included,
Working within a operating Refinery environment
Mentorship role to ensure OHS regulations and Refinery Safety rules were complied with.
General site support included punchlisting.
Construction engineering support and problem solving.
As-building Isometrics and P&ID’s.
Working in all Disciplines on final handover books.
Design Office:
Equipment checking and remodeling to latest Vendor data. Piping design using PDMS working on the Product Stripper Column as well as back drafting in other areas of the plant, producing isometrics and non standard supports drawings. Working on DCN changes.

Shell - RCCU Particulates Reduction
This project allowed me more PDMS experience as it was a smaller project. I worked on piping general arrangement drawings and equipment drawings using draft as well as equipment modelling and back drafting isometrics. I gained piping model layout experience whilst producing piping isometrics with senior designer support.

Anzon – Support to Upstream
Worked on 3D AutoCAD drawing which I had to get dimensions from to model a Teg Regeneration package on PDMS. This was more of a training exercise to improve my skills on PDMS and to use as a school exercise for our end of course presentation. Also working on piping general arrangement drawings.

Basell – Basell Polypropylene Expansion
Learning how to use PDMS whilst back modelling isometrics, pipe supports and equipment modelling. Also back drafting general arrangement drawings on Draft. Filing of isometric and stress sketches as well and producing transmittals for isometrics. AutoCAD drawings which included overall plot plan, key plan and pipe supports.

Caltex - Clean fuels Lytton and Kurnell
I Started my traineeship on the Caltex clean fuels project. This project involved updating the piping systems for the Lytton and Kurnell refineries to comply with future fuel quality requirements. Filing of isometric’s, producing AutoCAD drawings which included P&ID back drafting and basic Draft work of Piping General Arrangement drawings on PDMS.
