Summary |
This letter of introduction serves to give a brief summary of my skills and personality. I am a Piping Design Draughtsman with +20 years experience in the Petro-Chemical and Mining sectors.
I have a good thorough background in piping design, drafting practice and cad systems through my experience working with many different companies on contract, within South Africa and surrounding states in Sub-Saharan Africa.
I am fully conversant with the use of Solid Edge, AutoCAD and Microstation; producing PFDs, P&IDs, Isometrics, Layouts, Plot Plans and General Arrangements. When required, I am willing to visit or work on site.
I am capable of working using my own initiative with a solid knowledge of piping design, i.e. usage of valves, pipe fittings, specifications, etc., and produce drawings with minimum supervision and to strict deadlines.
Lastly, I am honest, diligent, punctual, respectful, neat, hardworking, physically fit, mentally sound, reliable, trustworthy, single minded, focused, communicative, well read and sociable. I have not been denied a security clearance wherever there was a need for one, nor broken a non-disclosure agreement.
